Web Assignment

1) A daguerrotype is an image being copied onto a metal plate. The daguerrotype was made to resemble a mirror and thats why the photos were flipped.

2) albumen print also known as albumen silver print, was the 
first photograph printing on paper material. It was made 100% out of cotton and it got a coat of egg white. This type of method was very popular in the late 19th century and then died out after that.

3) A stereograph is a  way and technique to see an image 3D. They were very popular throughout the beginning of the 1900.

4) A carte de visite is a small version of a photograph. They were used to pass to friends almost like post cards or little school pictures now days.

5)Mathew Brady was a photographer that took pictures of the American civil war.
 Alexander Gardner was best known for his American civil war photos and also pictures of abraham lincoln.
